5 Mistakes to Avoid When Renting a Robot

Over the past few years, we have supported hundreds of robot deployments. Along the way, we have spotted a few typical mistakes that are easy to avoid.

    1. Choosing the Wrong Robot

A reception robot at a garden party on a gravel path? Unfortunately, that does not work. Robots need flat floors. Talk to us about the venue beforehand and we will recommend the right model.

    2. Booking Too Late

During trade show season (spring and autumn), our robots are often booked out weeks in advance. Ideally, allow 2 to 4 weeks lead time; for major events, even more.

    3. Forgetting a Power Outlet

Our robots have batteries, but for an 8-hour deployment some models need a charging break. Plan for a power socket nearby.

    4. Not Briefing the Robot

The GreetingBot Nova with ChatGPT integration performs better when you provide it with the right information in advance: company name, agenda, key contacts.

    5. Leaving the Robot Unattended

A robot always needs a contact person on site who can step in if something does not go as planned.
