A Day in the Life of an Event Robot
What does a typical deployment day look like for our robots? Come behind the scenes with us.
06:30 Loading Up
Our technician loads the GreetingBot Nova into the van. The robot is fully charged, display content is prepared and the checklist is ticked off.
08:00 Arrival and Setup
We arrive 90 minutes before the event starts. The robot is unloaded, positioned and configured. We map the room, meaning the robot learns the environment and knows where it can and cannot go.
09:30 Team Training
We show the on-site team how to start, stop and redirect the robot if needed. Usually takes 15 to 20 minutes.
10:00 to 18:00 Deployment
The robot greets guests, answers questions and shows content on its display. One short 20-minute charging break in between. The rest of the day, it runs non-stop.
18:30 Breakdown
We pack up, secure the robot and drive back. The next day, the client gets a brief follow-up call.
